DIP DYES:

Vacuum metallized (aluminized) parts that are flowcoated on reels are most efficiently converted to brass or gold (or other colors) by submersion (dipping) the entire reel in a tank of dye, then draining the excess and washing with deionized water. The process can be done in seconds either manually or by flowcoating. 

Jema-American manufactures ready-to-use dyes of desired strength according to customer needs. Also offered are concentrates for customers to convert to use-ready by adding appropriate diluents, affording the ability to custom match specific shades.

TONERS:

Articles that are spray-basecoated and vacuum metallized (or silver spray metallized) are conveniently spray topcoated with the color (toner) pre-mixed with the clear topcoat. Cosmetic closures are a typical application.
